We also offer a range of full-time and part-time taught postgraduate courses in subjects relevant to medicine and healthcare specialist training.

External colleagues include a vibrant mix of professionals from a range of health and social care backgrounds, ensuring that content is up to date and appropriate.

We also offer a number of intercalated degrees, where you can take a year out of your normal medical curriculum to study for an extra degree, which may be a bachelor's degree or a Master’s degree (depending on the pre-requisites you hold).

This lengthens your studies by a year, but you end up with two degrees: a traditional medical degree (eg, MB BS) and also a BSc, BMedSci or Master’s degree in another subject.
